| Committee Student Representative | Mathias Cheung, King's College London 'As a final-year LLB student at King's College London coming from Hong Kong, I have always been fascinated by the multi-culturalism that European Law represents. To me, the UKAEL similarly stands for an inclusive and open-minded environment for lawyers of all backgrounds with an interest in developing the law. I am keen to forge a closer relationship between the UKAEL and all students, so that students can capitalise on the unique events and networks to build up a constructive career in law. If you have any questions about UKAEL's events or are a student law society interested in collaborating, do feel free to get in touch!' |
| Committee Student Representative | Marta Do Vale Faria, King's College London "As a Citizen of the EU its legal system and laws have always been close to heart; when I started the LLB at KCL in 2010 I had the opportunity to attend the EU Law in Practice event promoted and organised by the UKAEL. I immediately took benefit of the privilege to become a student member for a very student friendly price and for the past two years I had numerous opportunities to attend events such as conferences and seminars that enriched my not only my student experience but also my relation to EU Law... two years later and I still love EU Law and wish to continue studying it at Masters level. I am committed to bring the UKAEL closer to the student community as I believe having enhanced my student experience it can do the same for many others. If you wish to know more about the UKAEL and its work please do not hesitate in contacting me.” |
